A few things you might be wondering

Most people arrive here with a mix of curiosity and quiet nerves and that’s completely normal. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. These are some of the questions that tend to sit just beneath the surface.

I’m awkward in front of the camera… is this really for me?

1

Honestly? Especially for you.

Most people I photograph feel uncomfortable having their photo taken. This experience isn’t about performing, posing, or being someone you’re not. It’s about slowing things down, creating space, and letting you arrive as you are.

What actually happens during a session?

2

Is this suitable if I don’t usually like photos of myself?

How long does the experience take?

What if I love this but I’m not quite ready yet?

Nothing rushed. Nothing forced.

We take things gently. There’s time to settle in, talk, breathe, and get comfortable in the space. I’ll guide you where needed, but much of the session is simply about being present rather than doing.

Do I have to buy anything after?

Do I need to know how to pose?

3

No… that’s not your job.

You won’t be asked to hold awkward positions or perform for the camera. I’ll offer direction when it helps, but the focus is on natural movement and genuine moments rather than traditional posing.

What should I wear?

4

What happens after the session?

Why is the experience priced the way it is?

Simple, comfortable clothing you feel like yourself in is always a good starting point.

After you enquire, I’ll guide you through this properly so you’re not left second-guessing. There’s no pressure to dress a certain way, the goal is for you to feel at ease.

Yes, and you’re not alone in feeling that way.

This experience is designed to be kind. We’re not chasing perfection or trying to make you look like someone else. The aim is to create images that feel honest and recognisable…Images you can live with and return to.

The session itself is unhurried, and the overall experience unfolds in stages, from consultation, to the session, to your reveal appointment.

This isn’t something to squeeze into a lunch break. It’s intentionally given time and space.

You’ll be invited back to the studio for a reveal and ordering appointment.

Here, you’ll see a carefully curated selection of images and choose how you’d like to enjoy them… Whether that’s wall art for your home or something more personal.

There’s no pressure. Ever.

Your session includes a starting piece of wall art and the associated digital file. Additional pieces are available if you’d like them, but the reveal is about choosing what feels right for you, not being sold to.

Because it’s intentionally slow, personal, and limited.

Each session receives care, time, and attention. Before, during, and after you step into the studio. This isn’t about volume or quick turnarounds; it’s about creating something meaningful that lasts.

That’s completely okay.

Many people choose to plan for this experience rather than rush into it. If it feels like something you’d love to do… Even if the timing isn’t perfect… You’re always welcome to start a conversation.
